The Cooke Custom Sewing Lean 3 was great when the kids went with us, but is bigger than the two of us need now. This is an earlier version in yellow sil nylon with mosquito netting, in great shape. The Lean 3 stores in its own bag about the size of a basketball but is huge when set up. We mostly used it as a tarp/shelter big enough to put all the gear in plus chairs for 4-5 people.

I now live in Utah, but we will be in Iowa over Christmas, and we will attend Canoecopia in March '17. An in-person trade would be best though other options could be arranged. Email Canoepam at yahoo dot com.

Another thought...maybe sell the Lean 3 outright and use the money to purchase a 2?

Willing to sell for $350 plus shipping. You must be someone I know or an active poster here so I can trust things will go well. If you need references from me, let me know via email.

Pam, I've had ZERO issues buying and selling canoe stuff on this website over almost a decade. I usually use Paypal, but with folks here I would (and HAVE) received and sent personal checks.

And if anyone's interested in buying from YOU, I'll "Vouch" for you! I think I have a pic of your "Mug" so we could track you down (LOL)?

Thanks Terry! I have had a lot of scammers when I sold biking gear, but I should have realized boaters are a nicer group. And yes, that's me in the bow on the Current River. Now, doesn't anyone want a nice Lean 3 for Christmas? I really want that Lean 2 for next year's paddling in the canyons here. Thinking of doing Stillwater Canyon of the Green River next fall...

Plus 1 on what ozark said! I have sold and purchased many items here over the years from people I have never met. Not once has there been an issue. On a number of occasions when I have made purchases, the sellers have sent me the item for me to check out before I send them payment. Wonderful, trustworthy group! And best wishes with your sale.
