The place is walking distance from my house, I hope to be there. That said, my two oldest girls are home from college that day for their spring break, and my wife's birth day is 2/28. So, we may be going out that evening for a family meal. Maybe we will go to Old Chicago...

That was a pretty good turn out! Had some good conversation and maybe too much beer. But made it home safe. I think I lost or forgot a map though. Nice meeting new people, chatting with some i knew before. Ready to paddle!! I will watch for y'all in the wilderness.

if you did not go thru the maps for sale you missed out on some good stuff.
one of the ones I bought was marked up with sightseeing high lights!
the $100+ bivy I took home was less than the beer and onion rings!!!!!!

it's just a level trail thru the woods.

That's a problem for 60+ year old social butterflies, so busy talkin' to the trees ya miss the rest of the forest! I have a similar problem.
