I have had the complete set of Voyageur maps on my computer for several years. They have always worked without any problems. Now the program boots okay but the map area does not come up on screen. Just a note that says it "couldn't load the plugin." Has anybody else had this problem occur?

Finally found a fix for my problem. I had to delete and reinstall Google Chrome. I can't explain why it corrected the problem but it did.

I spent a couple of hours trying to track down the company that produced the maps to no avail. Then I went to my computer and proceeded to delete Google Chrome and reinstalled old plain Google. This eliminated the note about the plugin but still did not display the maps. So I went back and reinstalled Google Chrome and that corrected whatever was wrong. The program is now working as it should. The only explanation I can come up with is that the problem was with Google Chrome. Whatever it was it is now working as it is supposed to. Computers, don't you love em?

Yep... and when you figure it out they come up with updates and new and 'improved' versions.....which is why I was too chicken to put Windows 10 in my computer here. I did it in my laptop because I figured I had nothing to lose and basically just use it on vacations, scout meeting etc for showing pictures and doing emails.
