Never been to Shell before but the pics looked like old ones that had been scanned and you had just posted on Goldenbadger's question about hiking to Devils Cascade and stated that it was a long time ago that you were there so I thought "Shell is a good guess". I've also seen lots of pics of Con Island over the years in trip reports and researching the area (still would like to get there sometime) so I thought there was a decent chance that it was Shell.
