Just wondering if anyone has tried the Nemo Fillow . A little pricey, bulky and heavy but I still don't sleep as well as I'd like. Something that I normally would not spend this kind of money on, but I did because I had a gift card to use up. It has good reviews, I am just hoping that it works for side sleeping.

I have the Nemo and I'm happy with it. I think you'll find that it is a pretty comfortable pillow. But you are correct when you say its a little bulky. My sons have Sea to Summit pillows and they pack down less than the size of your fist. Very compact. They seem to like the comfort of the S2S as well.

All three of us have one and we absolutely love them!
It does work well for side sleeping - as that's what I do. You can puff out a little air if it's too firm, or put more in to your preference. They're a breeze getting packed back up too.
For me, they're worth their weight in gold.

They're about as good as it gets for an inflatable pillow, but make no mistake, any pillow with an air bladder to adjust pillow thickness instantly makes it inferior, in my book, to the cheapest of your run of the mill bedroom pillow. I have one regular size Fillo and one extra large Fillo, and I highly recommend getting the biggest one. Either way, to a certain extent, you feel like you're sleeping on a balloon, although the Fillo is better than most inflatable pillows in that regard. Just keeping it real folks. I'd also add, the bungie straps on the back are virtually useless for the intended purpose of building up pillow height. They're too tight and narrow to fit anything of size in it for the purpose. I found I'm best off just folding up a sweatshirt or jacket and laying my Fillo on top of or below it for more height. Having said all that, I'd generally recommend these over just about anything else I've seen.

I've been using a $5 My Pillow travel size I got at the state fair. Just got a small stuff sack and pack it in real tight. about the size of a softball.

I have used many camping pillows including the inflatable balloon pillows. The Nemo Fillow is no balloon pillow. It does inflate to the degree you allow to provide it a varying degree of thickness/hardness but the memory foam layer and ultra suede liner make it feel much more like a regular pillow. Well worth the money for me.

I bought my Fillo 4 years ago as an upgrade from a set of worthless Columbia camping pillows. As a side, belly, and back sleeper It is a game changer for me, I use it year round when camping. It went back to Nemo a year ago, before I went to Philmont, due to a slow leak. They replaced the bladder with a newer model and had my 'upgraded' pillow back to me within a week of receiving my shipment.
I always keep it in the compression sack along with my quilt and sleep clothes when I'm going camping. I don't really notice any additional bulk from it.
