First I know this belongs in the gear forum but....
I am in the market for a hammock tent. Some friends suggested the War bonnet blackbird and recently laid in a ENO Reactor. Besides the price difference is there a real difference that I'm not seeing. Both are double layered. Both seem easy to set up. Both seem comfortable. What am I missing and what's your experience with these two models.

While there is an initial price difference, it may not be much by the time you get everything you need for the ENO. It does not come with suspension or a bug net. The Warbonnet comes ready to use, plus has an integrated foot box that allows for a better diagonal lay. It also has a structural ridgeline. These combine for a flatter, more comfortable hang.
If you would like to check out my Blackbird XLC, let me know. I get up to Cedar Rapids quite a bit.

Stimpy, thanks for your opinion. I'm pretty sure I have talked myself into the War Bonnet.
BTW, didn't you tell me that you guys are up into the Malberg area this year. If so let me know. My group enters EP 37 June 9th.

Yeah, we're going in on June 18. We'll probably just miss you. We're going to shoot for that lake you were telling us about...
