05/25/2017 10:03PM So here's a tip I learned the first trip with a NOAA weather radio. Know which county you are in. |

05/25/2017 05:54AM I carry this guy... Wx radio Listen to it few minutes a day - early and late. Heads up on severe weather's nice, and if wind is supposed to build, I may be able to adjust travel direction or time of day. |

05/24/2017 06:45PM Just got back from 5 days off Entry #4 (Burnside Lk) and it was cool to cold the entire time. On Saturday evening we even had some sleet collecting on the tarp. Cold and wet for my first trip this year. Hopefully, you will have better conditions. |

05/24/2017 03:38PM I'll add that there's also a 95% chance the weather will be absolutely beautiful the day you have to leave. It never fails. Welcome to BWCA.com and have a great trip! |

05/24/2017 01:03PM justinrlees - welcome to bwca.com! Just know that whatever is predicted on the day you enter, it will immediately change (once in a while, for the better!) while you're on the trip... :-) Enjoy Mudro and points beyond. |

05/24/2017 12:18PM Hello all, new to the forum. Putting in this Thursday at Mudro. Excited to get up there! I wanted to see where people go to check the weather for the week in the BW. Is it accurate it enough just to check the weather in Ely? Or is there a website or some resource that more accurately predicts weather for the BW specifically. I have been loving reading the responses and conversations on this message board. Happy fishing and camping fellow outdoors people! |
