I spent a couple nights on the island site on boulder in 2012. I came in from the north. I remember one hill in particular that made me think... glad I'm going south. Haha. It's one little hill... but as exhausted as I was it seemed like a mountain. I don't think it's as high, but as steep as the hill I believe on the muskeg/kiskadina portage. It is the one place I'd personally like to go back to.

Was there in October. Fun route. Appears to get little use, based on how narrow the portage trails are. Couple of the portages were a bit difficult to locate.

I have read boonies excellent report on his solo through the area. Anyone else, in recent years, travelled north from adams to Boulder then west to cap towards sagus/ Fraser? Am curious about the getting from Boulder to cap and what it may be now compared to beymer account.
