I enjoyed my 2016 trip through Kawishiwi Lake EP #37 (see trip report for some details), a loop which went to Malberg, Fishdance, Alice, Thomas, Cap, Boulder, Adams, and back through Polly to Kawishiwi Lake exit.

Both are great ideas, thanks. Ice-out may play a part in the decission as we are planning a mid May trip.

Jackfish: "It would require a shuttle, but if you wanted to stay in the BW, you could always do the border route from west to east (or vice versa).

Have you given any thought to Quetico?"

+1 great idea -

We have had the pleasure of logging many long trips in the BWCA. We enjoy a challenge, usually traveling 50 to 70 miles in a trip. We have done Crooked, Stuart, Saganaga and many others. Just wondering if there are any suggestions from the group.

Thanks

Dave
