Apologies! I am new to the forum. Will be going with 4-5 people from a Wednesday to Sunday. Thanks!

Man, that's a nasty little bugger. It was after that portage that I decided I needed to buy real portage hikers instead of the trail runners I was using up to then.

x2. Also the trip reports are sorted by EP so you can go thru them easily. Or search here, Mudro is talked about often.

Encourage you to read trip reports out of that EP. I've only done #22 last September (4 nights) and DID NOT like the ankle-sprain portage Mudro-->Fourtown. Beyond that--is wonderful, classic BWCA paddling. I did a solo, clockwise loop to Moosecamp Lake, then southbound on the Moosecamp River to Fourtown. Had Moosecamp to myself! The weather was perfect w/a nippy morning. I wish I had traveled further north.
Helpful to know how many days & group size in your plans.

Hello, I am checking to see if anyone has suggestions on a trip starting at entry points 22 or 23. Thanks in advance!
