I'm sure we will be meeting up with you at Seagull Outfitters.

We are also flying into Duluth on May 31st and staying over the first night at Seagull Outfitters. We have been to the BWCA multiple times, always starting from Ely with Piragus as our outfitter (I highly recommend them).

Drew at Piragus recommended Deb and we have been very satisfied with the excellent support that she has provided thus far.

This will be our first trip into Quetico, and we are counting the days now.

I am curious when the ice will melt and if the fishing will be delayed due to the long cold winter

Best of luck on your trip.

Jeff"

We have changed our dates because of a conflict with airline times. Now we are flying up on Fri. 30 and entry date of 31of May.

Drew actually works for "Piragis" Northwoods Company.

If you have any questions about anything just let us know I'm sure there are plenty of people on this board willing to help. Good luck on your trip and welcome to the forum.

A very nice area. Silver Falls is quite impressive, but only the gateway to some really good tripping.

We are also counting the days. All the paperwork is been taken care of and equipment has been purchased. We will be the father/son team with the southern accent. Don't hesitate to say Hi.

You are going to really enjoy the Q. It feels "wilder" than the US park.

how many thumbs does it take to meet the statement, "I'm all thumbs"?

Deb from Seagull Outfitters informed me today that she got our queticio permit! Our plan is to fly in to Duluth on Saturday May 31st. We are going to stay at the bunkhouse for 2 night and be ready to enter the Q on Monday early. Our plan is to basecamp on Saganagons for 5 nights. Stay at bunkhouse on Saturday night and fly out on Sunday.

Debbie said we can use the Saturday at Seagull to go over the trip and even have some canoe and paddling tips. She wants us to be comfortable on our first trip. We can't wait till it gets here.
