03/14/2017 07:54PM Moon is reachable from Swallow, or was 6 or 8 years ago. The first bit is thick brush (& one sudden drop from knee-deep to neck deep for the stream - funny stuff since it wasn't me!), then it opens up into a meadow & the stream wanders into Moon. We had to get out & walk the canoe a ways, too narrow, shallow, & winding to paddle. Moon was a great little lake. More two pound pike than I'd ever seen, they were literally bouncing off the canoe in pursuit of our lures, getting a hit or follow every other cast. Fun for about half an hour until we realized there was likely nothing bigger in the lake. We also saw two moose swim across the southernmost bay while we were there. We didn't try from Meeds, but it didn't look promising. I'd be interested in what you find now if you make it back there. |

03/10/2017 07:06AM No......But it has been discussed and the more plausible route in looks like it may be along the creek out the west end of Swallow if any. |

03/09/2017 06:49PM The map shows that there is a river that connects Meeds to Moon, is it navigable? Looks pretty small to me. Thanks, Brian |
