07/06/2015 09:51AM I always enjoy reading your reports and can't believe how much Aurora has grown. It's fun to see our children's awareness of the BW bloom! Our youngest, now 10 1/2 took her first trip at the age of 2. Your campsite on Gabi was really unique - almost looked like you were on the barren lands. Great photos and video. Thank you for sharing your trip. |

07/06/2015 08:30AM I truly enjoyed reading your trip report which took you through some of my favorite places. I enjoyed the pictures - it's nice to see the area is really "green" as opposed to the moonscape it was about 6 years ago. Aurora is a very lucky little girl to have wonderful parents who are instilling their love of canoe country to her. |

07/05/2015 06:03PM Great report. Having a little one myself this sets the bar pretty high. Lol. Hope we have as much fun next year on my wife and boy's inaugural trip. |

07/04/2015 11:40AM A couple of weeks after this trip, Aurora & I headed back up the Gunflint Trail to the first ever BWCA Expo. The flowers, animals, Chik-Wauk museum & friendly folks at the Expo were all enjoyed by both of us. But, Aurora really got a kick out of the beach at Blankenburg Landing and, of course the guy with the big white beer (beard)- aka Dan Cooke. :) Other thread |
