Ran into a nice couple and they said there destination many years is to camp in that arm. Where, not sure in that arm? Canoed thru it and liked it.

Yes there is, we stopped there for lunch last year. It's basically on the tip of the point that separates the main part of the elongated bay from the largish bay that sticks up to the north closer to the main part of Agnes. It was a nice site and I would definitely stay there some time.

It's not on the PCD or the maps and I think that's a good thing since it's nice to still have some places to discover in Quetico, or learn by "word of mouth" (I'll put this post in the latter category). (And if you had an email address here I would have emailed you the info - something that is good to include if you are asking stuff like this when people might not want to share the info with the entire world.)

I've paddled up the arm as far as the 2nd pictograph site and didn't notice anything resembling a campsite. However, I was mostly running along the northern shore line.

Does anyone know if there are any campsites anywhere along the large elongated arm/bay on the eastern side of Agnes (located to the south of Dack Lake)? Thanks.
