News from the FCC that the sale of WELY in Ely to Zoe Communications was finalized on 4/20.

I see this article is dated Nov, 2022. Wonder how long it will be before it goes back on the air - if at all.

The article is from November, but the FCC Action took place on 4/20. They couldn't do anything until the sale was finalized. I am fairly familiar with ZOE Communications from a prior career- I'm pretty sure he didn't plunk down $130,000 without intention to use it. He is a very good and successful local radio operator with many smaller community stations in NW Wisconsin.

I saw on a Facebook post in the past few days, may have even been Trader Craig himself, that they just need to complete some electrical work before they'll be broadcasting again.
