To help out this time, I’ll share that this mystery lake is on the east side of the bwca. It’s time to get back to paradise :;)

So since that is technically a clue, do I get another guess? XD

I'll go with missing link. Big boulders, lots of pine, on the westish end.

technically_rugged: "Gillis?"

You are correct! These photos were from our early spring trip in 2012, in at brant to Gillis base camp, day trip up to French and Peter. Exit via seahorse, warclub…I believe this is referred to as the chub river, came down the hill and somehow got to brant and exited at round.

Honestly this was a gorgeous trip, however tackling that many portages and the constant in and out of the canoe was taxing on a sedentary winter body.

I would go back to Gillis but I’d go in via missing link to Tuscarora and crooked to Gillis. I think this way is far more scenic, esp the portages.
