Goin in on a Sunday in June. Would like to get to the lower part of the triangle and find a campsite for a day or two, then move on. What time would be best to enter, taking into account the times people may be leaving their campsites? I know it is a crapshoot, but curious what your thoughts may be. For reference, we usually hit the water around 6:30 am.
It really is a crap shoot but you bring up a good point, you CAN be too early. That is usually me since I tend to wake up and get moving really early. People might be leaving around 9:00 - 10:00? Maybe try to start at 8:00 or just take your time and fish along the way! Campsite 1131 is one of my absolute favorite sites!
When we came to a campsite that was occupied but looked like people were getting ready to move, we asked if they were moving that day and then spent time fishing in the area until they left. They did not appear to be annoyed by our asking.
