I'm pretty well packed for my first solo trip. I travel Wednesday and enter Quetico Thursday for a 2-week Hunter Island loop.

As this is likely a one-time event, I want to make sure to capture the memories as best I can during the trip. I plan on lots of pictures and have a notebook for journaling.

Scouring the site here for ideas, I clicked on the Photo and Trip Report Contests link. There I found that I was a February 2016 winner with my report Camp in a tent in a different place each month of the year 2015!! How cool.

Anyway, I'll do my best to post trip report soon after I get back!

Keeping a notebook is clutch for reviewing your trip in post. I regret not recording my trek in my journal this summer as I did last year.
