07/02/2014 07:56PM Yeah, I've tried calling...something is either wrong with their phone or mine. I did call the park assistant superintendent and left a message. No word back yet. |

07/02/2014 05:35PM Best advice already given -- call -- but my two cents . . . Entry point (41) -- Threemile Lake, the one you *should* use for Wolseley is closer to LLC than anything, but couldn't you pick up the permit in Atikokan or have an outfitter up there issue it? (Wouldn't want to try the other alternatives you mention, if it were me.) --Goose |

06/30/2014 11:30PM So I didn't get a RABC pass this year, and I'm itching for another Q trip. Out of curiosity: Can I legally access Wolseley Lake via Beaverhouse? It's not listed on their sites (as far as I can tell) as being one accessible via the Beaverhouse or Atikokan ranger stations (it's through the LLC station). Can I put in at Beaverhouse, zip over to Quetico or Cirrus for a night, and then head back down the river to Wolseley? Or head to Wolseley first and then out to Quetico (so I don't have to stop at the LLC ranger station)? |
