05/14/2015 09:32AM Perhaps you dont NEED it with you in the Q but I just like to have it. |
05/13/2015 07:29PMquote TeamTuna06: "Make sure you have BOTH card and license on your person whilst fishing. Had a CO tell me that the license isn't valid w/o the card present." That makes sense, but I am asking if it is indeed necessary to have both a passport and drivers license. It's seems redundant to me. |

05/12/2015 08:38PM Marshall, Why do you suggest bringing a drivers license when you already have a passport? Just curious, not sure if I am missing something. |

05/12/2015 02:37PM I received the outdoor card but did not receive a license in the mail or in an email. When do I receive the license? |

05/12/2015 02:08PM Yup, im going for the 1st time and what Mike said is the way I understand it, Print your own LICENSE and take the actual credit card type OUTDOORS card with you. along with your: RABC form that they sent you Drivers License PassPort or Passport card (these are only needed when returning to US the way I understand it) We leave on June 10th from Cache Bay heading up the falls chain to Kawnipi. Less than and MONTH! Woo-hoo! |

05/12/2015 12:41PM You should be good. They don't send you a physical card for your fishing license. Put it in something waterproof. Also, you might want to make a copy in case you get it wet or lose the original. But you should be good to go. |

05/12/2015 12:27PM I am about to go to the Quetico for the first time in a couple weeks. I am a bit confused about what I need to bring to show that I bought a fishing license. As required, I purchased the Outdoors Card and a fishing license online. As suggested, I printed off the temporary Outdoors Card and license. Well, I received the Outdoors card in the mail but I never got a physical fishing license like I am used to getting in MN. Is my outdoors card tied to the license that I purchased? Should I expect a different card for the fishing license to come in the mail? Or is the printed license all I get? Thanks for input in advance. Even the outfitter I am going through wasn't totally sure if the warden could look up the license through the Outdoors card. Thanks! |
