07/13/2009 06:44AM Nice first trip. My first trip didn't go as well and it took 15 years to return. Now the trips get better every time that I go. This year I will make two trips to start a precedent. |

07/12/2009 08:20PM I think you did an excellent first trip with the entire family. Base camp on a lake that's a relatively short distance from the EP so you don't turn off anyone with grueling portages and paddling. Day trips to sightsee and lots of relax time in camp. Perfect for a first timer. |

07/07/2009 04:58PM Sounds like a great way to spend the 4th! Sawbill certainly is a beautiful lake, and I like how the EPs around there are more in the middle of nowhere vs. some of the EPs near Ely. It gives me more of a feeling of going to the wilderness that way for some reason. |
