We will enter via Nym/Batch later this week and are targeting on Oriana before heading down into Jean/Burntside/Sturgeon. Is the preferred (fishing, portages, scenery etc) route to Oriana via Hamburg or via Jesse? Any suggestions will be much appreciated.

I say that based on numerous accounts on this board about outfitters advising avoiding the portages to Hamburg from Maria in low water. If the water is high, it sounds okay. The upside is that Hamburg is the route less travelled. Jesse is generally always busy, in the Quetico sense, from my experience.
