Camp Notes:
Great large campsite just over the burn area on Insula. water was low so there were a lot of sitting rocks and even a gravel beach to swim off of. Tent pads are large to medium and you could easily fit 3 tents. good setup up the hill to watch wildlife and sunset.

Camp Notes:
One of the southern most sites without burn damage. Cute island site. Right next door to a burned out island. Caught plenty of fish on the east side on a nice rock. Easy landing and basically right in the middle of Insula. Nice sandy water made for easy wading to cool off, nice breeze since it is so open.

Camp Notes:
A large boulder provides a sheltered landing. The fire grate is elevated and provides a nice overlook of the surrounding area and the ravages of the Pagami fire (this site was untouched by the fire). It's a beautiful site and I would rate it higher except I could only find one 'semi' decent tent pad. There was a cool rock near the fire grate.

Very nice site; probably the best in this area of the lake. Elevated. Open. OK tent pads. One of the first sites on the southern part of Insula not impacted by the 2011 Pagami Creek fire. SW view from camp is of the burn area.

Great campsite. When we were here the water was a lot higher. Had to wade out to the giant boulder. It was nice to fish off of it and lay in the sun and relax.

Great site. The site is on a hill. It catches a good breeze to keep mosquitoes away. Flat tent pad.

This campsite is an island site. The fire grate sits high above the water and looks west. It is a nice site. There is good fishing right in front of the campsite. Soak a sucker and catch northerns. Tent pads are pretty good too.

Decent Campsite - easy to find due a a large Square(ish)erratic Boulder on the shore.
