Camp Notes:
This campsite is fantastic! There is a great landing on the south side of the point with a shelf about a foot deep to wet foot your landing. There is plenty of space for seating around the fire grate with an excellent west facing view of the lake. There is a lot of space once you get in the trees for tents and hammocks. Fishing was slow from camp, caught a couple of small northern but did catch more out on the water. The portage to North Temperance is far enough away to not be bothersome and only had a couple groups use it during the three days we stayed here. In fact, the majority of Cherokee was empty outside of the few sites coming out of Cherokee Creek.

Great views of sunset and northern lights. Nice areas for tent pads. Great place to watch loons and mergansers.

Great campsite. Has easy access to next portage if completely the Cherokee loop into Sitka/Temperance area. Great views of sunset wit nice kitchen area and rocky outcropping to sit and look at lake or fish.

Stopped here for lunch. Great views! Lots of space for larger groups. The fishing was good from shore. Numerous bait fish.

The camp has continued to expand. I counted pads for up to 6 tents. Nice big elevated point that catches a nice breeze. No real low areas that would be considered buggy. Great panoramic view of the lake from the fire grate and further out onto the point. Good canoe landing on the south side.

Great site on a beautiful lake. I'd go back here in a snap as I loved both the site and the lake. We got skunked fishing but the views made up for it. The canoe landing can be a bit sketchy, but not overly difficult.

Good campsite with a western view, good for watching sunsets. The fire ring has three logs for sitting on. It has three tent pads. The canoe landing area is not the best, thats why I did not give it a five star rating. Plenty of hammock trees for hanging.

Was a wonderful site to us. Nice gently sloping rock and room up top for 3 tents (maybe four). Good view of Cherokee.
