04/13/2018 06:27AM In one of Bill Mason's books he talks about filming a reenactment of voyageurs running rapids after he started making movies. The actors were in traditional garb, but wore floatation belts underneath their shirts. I seem to remember that they ended up dumping during one of the takes and some had quite a time making it to shore. Anyone know the location of the scene at around 58 seconds and 1:45? Agnes or Kashapiwi? |

04/11/2018 09:37AM I just watched it on YouTube. Lots of solo rapids running without any PFD. Supposedly a long solo trip, but certainly a film crew along. Every rapids and waterfall he is going downstream. Recognized one lake scene as islands in Kawnipi. |
