05/01/2018 09:30AM Camped and fished there an afternoon/evening a few Septembers ago. One of those cold, high sky, bright, sunny days - fishing was tough, but we picked up a few smallies. Didn't seem like a fishing "destination" lake to me, but again, we hit it at a tough time. |

04/30/2018 12:04PM Just for clarification- you're asking about Elton just south of Lil' Sag? Or is it Alton off of Sawbill? If it's Elton? I've not fished it (just paddle), but have heard northerns are the predominant fish. |

04/29/2018 07:14AM I fished it for an afternoon with no live bait, only lures and didn’t catch a thing. Smoke and burnt to the east of here is better fishing. |
