05/14/2018 05:31PM I know last year at the Island River entry point there was an updated map of opened campsites. |

05/14/2018 11:34AM I spoke to the USFS and the person was noncommittal. She said that they might be usable and they might not. I asked if there had been a portage crew in there clearing dead-fall and she said she thought so but wasn't sure. I suppose we will grab a site on Perent if there is anything open on Memorial weekend and do a daytrip on the river to check things out. I don't want to push though a ton of downed trees only to find that the sites are either closed or unusable. |

05/11/2018 03:37PM There is a msp on another website that shows two vlosed and two open on that stretch. 990 and 1995. The two just south or on Snusbix. Whether one or both have been opened i dont know. Egnuti offers gid advice if this is important to you. |

05/11/2018 12:11PM I would call the forest service for the information. The fs has permanently closed some sites and are slowly rehabing others. Any info you might find on the internet is probably outdated. |

05/09/2018 03:44PM Just looking for any info on the sites along the Perent River. Are they all within the burn area from the Pagami fire or are some of them intact? Are there sites that have been re-opened now that the forest is regenerating? |
