I've never brought a dog to the BWCA, but I'd have to think they'd be in heaven the whole trip." He's been on two trips now and you are right he is in heaven the whole time, he loves it! I just think he was tired from the couple of days before with all the hiking and a long car ride. Once he had a good nap he was back to his normal self!

TomT	01/30/2019 11:47AM Nice report and pics! I did that loop solo in 2012 and laid over on Finger. Gebe also. It sounds like you didn't get to visit the rock chairs on Gebe. Ive never stayed on Oyster but that is a long day going from there to the entry. Swampy long portages. That is amazing that you caught the turtle in the act of laying eggs. You made the right call to dig them up IMO. Thanks for the report.
