03/29/2019 09:41AM Do you have access to a 6 gallon tank? If so I would take it. |

03/18/2019 04:39PM Does that 4 stroke 9.9 get that 16 footer up on plane? Same question, with 2 guys. Same question with 2 guys and 4 days of gear. Are you taking a trolling motor and battery....... I'd bring a spare 3 gallons to be safe... |

03/18/2019 04:03PM spare gas in a motor boat makes sense. You don't have to portage it, so why be short? |

03/18/2019 12:29PM Bring an extra 3 gallons just to be safe. At least you wont have any anxiety about motoring around. |

03/18/2019 12:28PM The only time you have to much fuel is if you are on fire. Bring a 2 or 3 gallon jug. |

03/18/2019 08:43AM Yup, extra gas doesn't hurt. That 9.9 Mercury 4 stroke won't burn much, and any left over gas can be dumped into the car tank. |

03/18/2019 08:09AM Always have extra fuel! No reason not to. |

03/17/2019 08:20PM I guess it depends on what your plans are. If fishing, and you're trolling around six hours a day, you might need to take another tank of gas. If you're just sightseeing around the motor zone for a day or two, you should have plenty. |

03/17/2019 06:23PM Hi all, We are doing an overnight motor trip on Clearwater. We have a 16 ft Tracker V with a 9.9 Mercury Four Stroke motor. I am just curious how much gas do you think we would need for two guys on a four day trip. The tank on the boat is 3 gallons. Will this be enough for four days? Thanks for your input as always.
