03/27/2019 08:52PM Go quietly through Gordon. Good moose viewing potential. Good fishing on the Temperance River system. Some nice sites on South Temperance and Cherokee. Mostly northern pike on Cherokee. |

03/27/2019 09:17AMlindylair: "On the north end of the Kelly to Jack portage there is a trail of about 2 minutes that takes you back to an old abandoned gold mine. You can go in there for a bit before the shaft dives underground and is filled with water. Lots of relics of the time strewn about the site. Kinda neat. " This sounds awesome! |

03/26/2019 01:54PM Going out of 38 for 5 days with the crew this year. Any must hit spots in the area? Right now I'm thinking of a loop Sawbill > Cherokee > Gordon > Long Island > Davis > Brule > Temperence > Jack > Kelly > Burnt...something like that. We usually fish and do alright but we really enjoy exploring, climbing cliffs, good swimming spots, cliffs to jump off, high hills to get nice views from etc. Is it summer yet? |
