I am also very curious about auchagah lake and was curious if you ever made it out there? It looks like it would be clear water and possibly good fishing but I dont know if it's worth the hike.

I like paddling around islands in LLC and a trip to Fishstake Narrows is feasible. Ive always enjoyed Snow Bay.

There are some pictos on the east side opposite where the Loon River exits LLC. Not talking about the well known set at the other end of the lake. You may go right past them depending on how you plan to get to Snow Bay.

Will be base camping in a couple of weeks in Snow Bay. Some in group may not want to fish every day. Was wondering if there were any day trips from there that anybody would recommend. (pictographs, waterfalls...)
Also I see Lake Auchagah on the maps. Anybody hiked in there to it? Would it be worth hiking in to fish?
Thank You for any info. This site has been a great aid in planning our trip.
