08/21/2019 03:43PM Yeah, they get bad this time of year because the “workers” are relieved of their duties. The hives become abandoned after next year’s queens have hatched and that’s why you see so many around. They are generally a little less feisty during this time and a little sluggish as it is near the end of their cycle. You still ought to be careful around them though, especially if allergic. Just let them bee and they’ll let you be. Tony |
