Awesome pictures! I have a 3 year old and a six month old son and I can't wait to experience Quetico with them in the future like this! Glad he had a blast.

Eyedocron: "I have been through these two lakes many times, camped and fished them, but never caught lake trout there. Congratulations, good pictures, and a great experience for a young fisherman!"

I would have never guessed either. Most were in 30-40' of water although I caught one with the spoon dragging over the side of the canoe down about 3'. I was rigging another rod. We were working over a rock pile about 10'-12' deep for walleye and the laker hit the spoon and almost took my rod with him.

I thought I would share just a few of the 15 or 20 Lake trout we caught last July in Burke and Sunday Lake. My son had an absolute blast on his first Quetico trip and he loved catching and EATING the "big fish". I had no idea either of these lakes held so many trout, but we could almost catch them at will. Talk about a great time.
