06/05/2020 11:22AM I was there two weeks ago. The lake looks pretty rough. Not much cover at all, so a lot of direct sunlight. It's an interesting landscape, but not one I would find appealing to camp. Mike |

06/05/2020 06:46AM I hate staying in burn areas but it is doable. Takes so long to recover that it is hard not to visit them though. |

06/04/2020 01:05PM As others have said, one was saved from fire but basically just the site. Cool area and not many people stay although you'll a lot of people passing through both ways. |

06/04/2020 10:44AM I stopped at 1017 several years ago, but after the fire and it was OK, although I continued on to Polly. |

06/04/2020 08:31AM I always stay here my last nite when I entry at 37. Campsite 1017 is nice in itself. The camp was saved but everything else was scourched. The other 2 sites not so good. The area is coming back nicely and blueberries and rasberries galor. The west side of the lake is almost solid with them. It is good for a jumping off place. |

06/04/2020 08:02AM pretty crappy. I wouldn't camp there. Way too many dead trees and no shade in there at all. Fishing is still pretty decent though. |

06/04/2020 07:40AM Anyone been to Kawasachong in the last year? I haven’t been there since the fires and curious how the campsites are and if there is available firewood. |
