Some people put in at the bridge on the Tomahawk Road, but if you take forest road #379 (the road before the island river if your heading east on the Tomahawk) you will find a spot along the road that gives you access to the river. There’s actually steps down to the river. This is a much quicker way to get to the pictos—if you’re in a hurry:)

I don't see the island river photographs on the map planing area of this sight. I screen shot the map. Where are the pictos?
