" Will you be single portaging? Do you have several trips under your belt? Are you committed to doing a loop? Do you like to fish (you didn't mention this as a goal)? I did this loop with a friend in a tandem canoe as my second bwca trip. We double portaged. We did the loop in 6 days. I think 7 would have been better. It would have given us more time to fish. I think I would have also preferred to enter 14 and exit 16. The most remote part of the loop starts at Little Loon and on over to Pocket. From Pocket to the entry we started seeing more people. jfinn	07/30/2020 09:48AM Great route and area with tons of options on lakes, sites and even doing some miles on the Sioux-Hustler if you have a layover or short day. Big lake options, small lakes, portages are very straight forward. Have fun.
cowdoc	07/29/2020 08:16PM Did it 2 years ago. 1st night was Slim, then 2 nights on Finger, then 2 nights on Hustler, then out. Nice route.

Mo63021	07/28/2020 12:51PM We spent 6 days on Lynx this June and we saw loon, white swans, turkey vultures, eagles, snapping turtles, mice, squirrels, snakes, a moose walking across the bay in Lynx on a 92 degree day to cool off and a hummingbird. Oh, and a few fish! When we left to go back the swans were on Lower Pauness by the short portage.

egknuti	07/26/2020 10:03PM There are lots of good campsites on this route. I went through this loop earlier this year. I saw many loons and eagles, plus many moose tracks but didn’t see any. Slim, North, Steep, Eugene, Gun, Ge-Be and Finger all have good sites-also good fishing in most of these lakes. In the past I’ve seen moose on Oyster, Hustler and Shell.
cyclones30	07/26/2020 11:44AM Plenty of chances for that and a great area for a loop. 5 days is enough time to do it and not feel like you're rushed.

Wanted to see a lot and hopefully some wildlife (Eagles, Loons possible four legged) or at least hear wildlife. Four adults, 2 kevlar canoes... is this doable or any specific lakes we should camp on. Any suggestions for entry14 or the loop route? Or is there another route we should hit. Friends did Lake one to Insula last year and didn't see one Eagle or anything..so was trying for something different since I have been on that route. Thanks ahead of time.
