Lightfoot: "If you'd like a slightly longer route. Sea Gull, Alpine, Jasper, Ogishkemuncie, Jenny, Eddy, Knife, Ottertrack, Swamp, Saganaga. Once you hit Knife, you can either go South Arm, North Arm, to Ottertrack; or South Arm, Hanson, Ester, to Ottertrack. This can be done in 3 nights, so with 4-5 you'll have plenty of time."

This was basically the route I would suggest. I have done this in reverse order with a tow to American point with Voyageurs Outfitters. You can also add some lakes by taking different routes between South Arm and Ottertrack. For example, South Arm to Amoeber, Topaz, Hanson, Ester, and Ottertrack. Or South Arm, Toe, South Arm, Hanson, Cherry, Lunar, Lake of the Clouds, Rivarly, Gijikik, Ottertrack.

Sea Gull > Alpine > Red Rock > Sag > Gull > Sea Gull is a lovely little loop that can be done in a couple days or longer. Seagull Outfitters is right on the lake and can help you out, otherwise Voyageur Canoe Outfitters is on the Gull River and you can start & end your trip from their dock.

Hi All. Looks like I will have to go in September this year (if I go at all). I was hoping to start at Seagull Lake as I have never been there before. Any recommendations on a route (4-5 nights). Also I will need to rent a canoe. I tried to contact Way of the Wilderness, but their email address is defunct. Are they out of business?
