I can't believe the number of people that are in such a hurry to save 4 minutes.... I'm less concerned about the loggers and more concerned about every suburban hauling multiple canoes going 50+... if people want to drift around corners, just find a sandpit and do it there. " Agreed, I'm not familiar with the roads and like to take it slow. Plus you get to enjoy the area a bit more than white knuckling it around every corner. I came to a stop off the side in one corner because a big van with canoes on trailer was screaming past the other way and they didn't let up one bit |

08/25/2020 06:44PM Was just there. It's dirt and about 13 miles. So plan on 20 or 30 minutes. |

08/25/2020 05:14PM Thanks everyone. I am driving myself and while I am quite use to rough gavel roads [live on one] I tend to take my time so will allow for that. |

08/25/2020 05:02PMdustytrail: "Will be entering at EP37 soon. I plan to spend the night before at Sawbill. Anybody have an ideal as to the drive time between the two?" That depends. Are you driving or getting a shuttle? Shuttle is about 30 min. They are used to driving the gravel roads. Google Maps calls it at about 45 min. I would say that 45-55 min if you are not used to driving gravel/washboard is probably more realistic. We haven't met any the last couple times across there, but you should be prepared to meet logging trucks along that route. Have a great trip! |
