Will report back with my findings" Definitely report on the walleye & lakers. Walleye were starting to come up a bit but today was in the low 70's which doesn't help the water cool down. Last I heard the walleyes were at about 15 feet, no idea on lakers yet. So, let us know what conditions you found, puleeze. :-)

brux	09/14/2020 10:13PM cyclones30: "Agnes has walleyes" +1 — Move to Agnes. You can also do an easy paddle/portage From Agnes to the bolder river to fish for walleyes, SMB and Crappie!

Banksiana	09/14/2020 10:07AM By late September lakers should be up close to the surface, preparing for spawn; especially if the water keeps cooling at the current rate. I've had some crazy good fishing for lakers in fall fishing the shoreline in about 10-20' of water. Lure didn't seem to matter.
egknuti	09/14/2020 06:53AM My guess is that the lakers will still be deep. I’d troll purple tail dancers or little cleos with at least 2oz of weight over 50-100ft of water. For me, fishing summer lake trout is an all day affair. Get out early in the morning and spend all day fishing. I had good luck catching walleyes in Gebe earlier this summer, with many over 25 inches. Hustler has nice northerns and small mouth.
Cricket67	09/14/2020 06:09AM I've never had great luck with Lakers in the late summer/fall. I would suggest putting this post on the fishing forum.
Wolfee	09/13/2020 08:13PM After having tried for lakers in the fall before and gotten skunked, I finally hooked into a bunch this spring and now I'm hooked. I am planning a fishing focused trip 3 night trip late Sept. on Moose/Portage entry. I'd like to base camp out of Oyster and fish for lakers, but... if they are not biting would like the option to day trip or maybe move somewhere else for some walleye fishing. So... a couple questions: Any late September laker fishing tips for Oyster? And second, if I was to move spots for walleye, which direction would be best to move? Hustler, Gebe, Agnes???
