Thanks for the tip! I’ll reach out to Lindy and Bluto via email.

TomP: "Lindy,

I couldn’t find your email address. "

Tom... see the box to the left with your board name and the trees in it? See the little envelope? If you just hold your cursor over the little envelope, the email address will be showing in the bottom left corner of the screen.

If you click on the little envelope, it will open an email with the person's email address already in the "To" line. I believe the email opens in Outlook so if you don't have that, just copy and paste the address into your own email.

Tom, I have an idea for you but it isn't in NE MN but is definitely "up north". A place I have been going since I was a little kid and the fishing has never disappointed. A beautiful and pristine area and the lake is 75% owned by the Boy Scouts so undeveloped. Only resort on the lake and a handful of cabins. No public boat access. Lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Not the cheapest place but reasonable. I have brought dozens of folks up there over the years and everyone has loved it.

Fishing is pretty easy for crappies and largemouth bass. Some Pike too and a good population of Muskie - if you spend a week you will likely see several in the shallows that will get your pulse racing. And they are catchable. Not much for walleyes although there are a few in there, SMB the same. The water is amazingly clear and you will see so many fish you won't even believe it.

Crappie fishing is a blast end especially if you happen to find good sized ones - and they are pretty easy to catch a mess of them. Largemouth Bass are the same, lots of 2-3 pounders with occasional 5 pound fish too. Pretty exciting and something a kid will love.

If it sounds interesting shoot me an email, I will give you more information.

I’m looking for a fishing cabin recommendation for northern Minnesota. Will also need to rent a boat and motor. Nothing fancy.

For fishing, we are taking a boy who has never really been fishing so we prefer numbers over size. Thanks!
