There have been a number of recent postings with similar questions and responses per this area... Mudro to Crooked.

I'll give you feedback on the Historic Table Rock site. Very cool large rock landing and the Table Rock itself , Very spacious site but not very pretty. Not a good site for Hammocks.

The maps page here on this site has campsites rated by the users. Island site in Friday bay is a good one but you'll see it's rated fairly high probably so other people will be targeting it too.

I've heard of people going to Jackfish, ive not heard of them at the others but the search tool at the top will tell you more.

Hey fellow paddlers -

Snagged a permit for a 7 day trip first week of June. Route is Mudro -> Horse River -> Crooked - Friday Bay back to Mudro. Plan is to base camp on Crooked and spend a decent amount of our time fishing. Group size is 4. With that in mind, are there any "4-5" star campsites that you recommend above the others? Not sure if people are comfortable sharing their favorite sites but figured it doesn't hurt to at least ask!

We are also looking at taking a day to travel to one of the inland lakes south of Crooked. It appears that there are three options: 1. Jackfish/Sauna/Maingan Lakes 2. Sinneeg Lake 3. Bungee Lake. Any experience with these lakes? Are 2/3 traversable? Overall recommendations?

Thanks!
