Thanks for this tip Dave. I will email you so we can expand on this tripping area.

No, not to Beatty, (which looks like a cool trip!) but I have been into Norway which is very nearby, north of Beatty, between Lacroix and Slim. I went in from Slim, (easy, flat) and out to Lacroix. You can paddle up the little creek from Lacroix toward Norway to a very big beaver dam, then through the beaver pond and up a steep section of tiny creek into Norway. About a half hour total from Lacroix.
There were numerous smallish pike in Norway, all at the west end. Like all 22" or so. All I did was throw Mepps spinners. East end is pretty shallow so nothing there.
Norway is pretty, worth the trip when the big lakes are windy.
On the south shore there is a little point coming out at the midpoint of the lake. Looks like someone had a campfire and maybe stayed there once or twice. Neat spot to do lunch and stretch the legs.
I really enjoyed that lake.

Checking in to see if anyone has ever bushwhacked into Beatty Lake? It's located a little west of the north end of Little Loon. If so, any fishing reports on species caught would be appreciated.
