There was 26" of ice where I was fishing off the Gunflint Trail yesterday.

I don't know. I know they still have a lot of ice up there yet, but, with all the warmth, I would guess there's a ton of slush. I'm planning a trip for next weekend, and we've been talking about moving to one of the trail entry points with the weather. I'm sure the ice is still solid, but the feet will not be staying dry if the snow keeps melting. I hope someone has a more up-to-date update for you.
