Thought I would bump up one more time just in case anyone has been in Snow Bay/Western LLC so far this season or going to be next week.

We are with Anderson’s as well.

iCallitMaize: "Ho Ho: "I've been curious about using a Little Vermilion permit to get to that area since we paddled up to North/South Lakes (just off Snow Bay) starting at Little Indian Sioux in May. If you get an LV overnight paddle permit, can you then contract for a tow up the south end of Snow Bay? Seems like a good way to access that area. What's a tow cost? (Or are you paddling in?)"

You are correct. Anderson’s and Zup’s both tow out of Crane Lake. It’s a significant expense but a no brainer for us with fishing being primary focus…after that 18 hour drive…a tow is clutch. I think the cost depends on how many other groups are going in with you but I could be wrong. I think ours was $275 per person(two way tow in and out)."

+ $100 for each private canoe for Anderson’s, I believe. Not sure about Zup’s but likely the same. I’ve used Anderson’s for 20 years. Mark is great.

LLC only permits are available June 12. Must overnight camp on LLC but can day trip to other lakes.

We are heading up to Snow Bay on the 12th. All six permits are spent for that day. Any of you guys/gals heading up that week?
