05/22/2023 03:32PM I use the forestry maps and zoom in to the region I want and screenshot them. They work pretty well and match up with the campsites and portages. They changed their site interaction and it's a bit more cumbersome now, so you'll have to do some exploring to figure it out. Basically, though, if you can find the 5 digit numerical code for the region (it may be a lat/long reference?) you can get nice maps with topography. For example, Fourtown Lake is in the pack 48091. 05/22/2023 08:55AM A few years ago, I had the great idea i was going to print off the entire BWCA map sections and make a giant map for my basement. I can't remember what website it was where you can download different sections of the BWCA and print off the maps, I know someone here recommended it. Anyone know what website I am talking about? |
