08/14/2023 01:21PM Just returned yesterday from a hike on Angleworm and can confirm the crossing at Spring Creek is a complete mess! Do Not Trust the Boards!! The whole area looks like a long abandoned lumber storage area... If canoeing float across, If hiking the beaver dam to the west is crossable.. we removed our boots and used croc's .. at some points it's ~6" in width... Hiking poles are a must (in my opinion) RW |

08/12/2023 08:51PM We entered on August 1 and the boardwalk section of this portage was in tough shape. One member of our party slipped off a tilted, submerged plank and got wet to his chest. After that we floated canoes, packs and people across one short section. Not the best way to start a trip. Advise caution at the boardwalk section. |

06/26/2023 08:33AM Hiked Angleworm mid May, planking was basically not passable but there is a beaver dam to the left down just a bit that most people are using. |

06/14/2023 10:35AM Did an out and back to Angleworm 6/2 - 6/4. High water has shifted the piles and I took a dip up to my neck the first walk through from putting too much trust in one of the planks. Another gentleman on the trail at the same time made some repairs, but not a permanent fix. It is definitely passable, but double portaging the planks and potentially floating the canoe is advisable. |
