Any update on the Dahlgren? Or other info on looping from Agnes to Iron, returning through Stuart Lake/Dahlgren river/Boulder river.

We did not, took the loop up through Iron, so not exactly what you are looking at. All said, although 3 weeks ago, we had reasonably easy travels-hopefully you experience similar.

Thanks for the reply. Did you check out Dahlgren at all while on Stuart?

We did the opposite loop with entry 3 weeks ago and exit on the 9th. The water levels were still good then but it seems they have been steadily lowering since. We had the typical 3 pulls over dams plus the big climb over the 3-4 ft drop one coming out on Stewart. We did 5 nights with 2 each on LLC and Stewart with one on Iron in the middle so 3 nights/4 days is doable but would go quickly and you will have some long travel days in my opinion. That said, it’s a great loop and we had a great time with no unexpected problems.

A friend and I are going in ep 19 next week, we are wondering what the river levels are like on dry years. Any recent info, or past experiences would be great. Also, we are going in for 4 days. Is that enough time to do a loop up to Iron and out Nina Moose? Leaving time to enjoy fishing along the way. Thanks in advance!
