We were there in early June, permits were taken for the days before we entered and we were able to find a campsite. I think 3 of the 4 sites were taken although we never ventured into the eastern side of the lake. We found the first site open by the portage and just took it. I didn't feel like paddling all the way to the east side of the lake only to possibly find those sites taken, so we just took the first site. I think the 2nd site you come to if you come in from East Bearskin is the nicer one of the two on the west side of the lake Beautiful lake, best walleye fishing I've ever had. Message me if you want to know where we caught our fish. |
