08/25/2023 09:46PM I enjoyed your trip report. I’ve been taking my kids to the BWCA since they were in the womb. I hope my sons will be like yours and want to keep coming with me when they’re on their own. Thank you for the pictures in detail made me feel like I was there. |

08/23/2023 10:25PM Enjoyed the report. It's nice to have time to explore off the beaten path at times. The fake portage trail felt familiar. It's comforting to know it happens to more experienced people too. Spending 2 weeks as a team with your son is pretty great too. It's so difficult to have real connections with our kids after they've left the nest. I can't think of a better way to reconnect. |

I usually heat some water on the stove and mix it with lake water before I add it, I don't have the patience to leave it in the sun all day (well, actually I always forget). Yep, Sea to Summit pocket shower. And I love packit gourmet! |
