Ottertailvoyageur	04/18/2025 10:04AM I just cancelled a permit for Mudro-EP23 on Tuesday, May 20th. Our plans changed slightly and we're going in at LIS the day before. Hopefully someone can put this permit to good use. I've always had great success starting canoe trips on a Tuesday (and every other day!). I'll miss Horse and Fourtown, but we'll do it another time, God willing.
Cartallen	04/14/2025 11:34AM Someone cancelled a permit for EP 47 (Lizz Lake) for May 23, and thanks to this notification system, I was able to get it. Still a little shocked that it happened, because I'd tried to get that permit on opening day and it was gone within seconds. A hearty thank-you to whoever came up with an implemented this system and this site!

JimEb	04/04/2025 11:06AM I just canceled my June 21 Brant Lake permit. What was to be the summer of my first BWCA experience is now going to be the summer of my divorce. Suppose I still could have gone but would have just spent the whole week in isolation overwhelmed with anxiety as I wonder what’s transpiring on the home front. If all goes well it’ll be over in August. I’ll do something local in the fall when I can relax again. Then spend the winter planning to do this trip next year.
Mike1100	04/02/2025 01:34PM I just cancelled my permit for May 20, 2025 at Entry 27, Snowbank Lake. Sadly I need some surgery that will interfere. Hope to get to the Boundary Waters in the fall and try the trip I originally planned next spring (2026).

gvpant	01/31/2025 10:18AM I am logged in and trying to sign up for permit alerts and it says permit alerts are only available for active members. Am I not a member even though have logged in successfully. Created my account a number of years ago. Am I missing something? I see I have to become a supporting member. OK
Richwon4	01/31/2025 07:18AM I scheduled BWCA during my kids camp. So now I'm CANCELLING MOOSE RIVER NORTH ENTRY 16. I was to enter on JULY 4. I am looking for something around the 26, 27th. I'd like Mudro or Nina Moose North.

We recommend subscribing to this thread at the link at the bottom. NOTE: Permits which are cancelled are not immediately available. They will likely become available in the next 8 - 24 hours. The best way to know when the permit is actually available is to sign up for permit alerts.
